WHAT IS

Face, Chin, and Neck Contouring?

Face, chin, and neck contouring involves procedures that help reduce fat and tone the skin on the face, neck, and jawline. As a physician-owned and operated medical spa, we are able to offer both non-invasive and invasive contouring procedures.

When patients come in for a complimentary consultation, we can evaluate their skin and discuss their desired outcomes. We walk our patients through our procedure offerings and work together to determine which service best suits their needs. The intake form has a helpful diagram of a face and body that our patients can use to detail their areas of concern.

Non-invasive procedures may include sunscreen and recommended creams, as well as various skin treatments. Invasive procedures have more downtime, and you can expect some form of dressing for 2-6 weeks.

HOW DOES a Non-Invasive Procedure Work

Plaza Aesthetics and Wellness is one of the country’s first clinics to offer the InMode Evoke for face and neck contouring. This non-invasive, hands-free procedure uses radiofrequency treatment to remodel fat of the cheeks, neck, and jawline, while also tightening the loose skin.

It is an artificial intelligence piece that is suitable for all skin types. It is a quick procedure that can happen during your lunch break and typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour depending on the treatment plan. The InMode Evoke is the best option for those patients who don’t have time to spare on a more invasive procedure and the downtime that goes with it.

HOW Does an Invasive Procedure Work?

We also offer more invasive contouring procedures using the FaceTite.

This procedure works well for stubborn fat in the submentum, “double chin” area. So if you have noticed a double chin in your last few selfies, this is the procedure for you.

It uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis to melt excess fat and also tighten skin. Once the FaceTite has been used, liposuction is performed. This procedure offers a faster recovery time and virtually no pain or scarring when compared with traditional liposuction.

The radiofrequency emitted by the device also stimulates collagen production in your skin. This allows your skin to heal from the inside out and produce collagen that keeps your skin firm and youthful.

The FaceTite measures the internal temperature of the fat layers and the skin’s surface temperature. This allows Dr Botros to ensure consistent results while maintaining your safety through the whole process.

We also use the Morpheus8 microneedling with radiofrequency that stimulates collagen production and tightens and smooths wrinkles. It requires less downtime than other procedures and allows us to customize your procedure to treat various areas and skin concerns.

Choose a Physician-Owned and Operated Medical Spa

Body contouring of any kind should always be done by a professional.

Face, chin, and neck contouring performed by non-professionals can be catastrophic. For example, they could go into an area that's not safe for the instrument and may hit vital anatomy.

Any face or body sculpting procedure should be an appropriate and custom-tailored treatment for you, or you could have unwanted results. For example, there is a well-known procedure that can cause what we call a 'shark bite' or indentation in the skin. We have also seen patients who didn't have the proper consultation, and the incorrect treatment was administered. We are careful to discuss any and all risks and concerns of our patients prior to beginning treatment.

You should always be seen by licensed medical professionals, and the invasive contouring should be performed by a registered nurse or doctor. At Plaza Aesthetics and Wellness, we offer a complimentary consultation to discuss all aspects of the procedure. Having a thorough consultation pre-treatment reduces the risk of adverse events. It also helps us manage our patients' expectations and allows them to go into the procedure well-informed and feeling confident.
