Dr Amber Botros
Owner/Medical Director
Brooke is the intentional force behind our daily operations.
She joined the Plaza Aesthetics & Wellness team in July 2025, bringing with her an elevated level of care rooted in communication and genuine connection.
With an eye for detail and exceptional organization skills, Brooke handles our scheduling and patient relations with a commitment to creating seamless, personalized experiences that reflect the high standards our practice is known for.
Brooke’s approach to beauty and wellness is ever-evolving. She believes that true confidence comes from within and that self-care has restorative power. She knows that ‘happy & healthy’ looks different for everyone – and she loves exploring that with whoever walks through the door.
Her goal is simple: to make every patient feel seen, supported and valued.
Brooke graduated from Mizzou with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cross-Categorical Special Education in 2014 and has since been drawn to roles focusing on care, engagement and empowerment.
Fun fact: She lived in Sydney, Australia for 3 years which gave her a broader outlook, deeper appreciation and better understanding of the balance between body and mind. She continues to carry this outlook with her in Kansas City, where she grew up.
In her free time, Brooke loves to spend time with her friends and family, practice yoga/meditate and do various kinds of bodywork. She deeply loves animals and now has a Cockapoo puppy named Stella. She’s also a pro at finding hidden gems at thrift stores!

Dr Botros spends her free time with her partner, John, and their french bulldogs. She enjoys exercise, the visual and performing arts, and her ever-expanding collection of houseplants. Dr Botros has dedicated much of her free time to supporting the body positive movement as a plus size model and content creator, encouraging women & men of all ages to feel comfortable and confident in their skin. She has been a member of the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP) for the past three years where she works with some of the most brilliant Kansas City Entrepreneurs. Dr Botros also serves on the Board of Volunteer KC. With continued growth of the business she is looking forward to more frequent travel and quality time with John and the dogs.

Megan Griffiths- Mick Registered Nurse
Megan graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Washburn University in 2018. After initially taking a more traditional nursing career path, Megan joined the Plaza Aesthetics & Wellness team in April of 2022. She has a passion for ending the stigma surrounding aesthetic treatments and helping people enhance their natural beauty to look and feel their best. She specializes in lip filler and wrinkle relief injections as well as dermal fillers for facial balancing, Morpheus8 face and body, Sciton Halo Pro, and BBL Hero laser treatments, and assists Dr. Botros with the BodyTite and FaceTite procedures.
Megan was born and raised on a farm in rural Kansas, and while it’s a very different world, she wouldn’t want it any other way. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Kyle, and their two dogs, Auggie and Harper. Megan also enjoys traveling and hopes to begin crossing more things off her never ending bucket list.
Sarah Griffin Registered Nurse
As a BSN prepared registered nurse and licensed esthetician, Sarah specializes in bridging the gap between medical science and aesthetic wellness. Her clinical experience in high-acuity settings – including the Burn ICU, Trauma OR, and Wound Care Clinic – has shaped her expertise in skin integrity, healing, and advanced care techniques.
Sarah is dedicated to delivering results-driven treatments in a safe, professional environment, helping each patient achieve healthy, radiant skin. Outside of her practice, she prioritizes wellness through fitness, quality time with her dogs, and getting lost in a great book.
Annie McBee- Medical Aesthetician
Annie is a Kansas City native who returned home in 2021 after spending 12 years in Manhattan, Kansas. She attended Bellus Academy, where she earned licenses in both esthetics and cosmetology. With more than a decade of experience in the aesthetics industry, Annie has been helping patients look and feel their best at Plaza Aesthetics & Wellness since her return to Kansas City.
In April 2024, Annie completed Hydrafacial’s intensive six-month, three-level training program, earning the distinction of Certified Master Hydrafacialist. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and helping them feel confident both inside and out. Her specialties include Hydrafacials, laser hair removal, chemical peels, Tixel treatments, body contouring, lash and brow services, and personalized skincare consultations.
Annie is highly skilled in developing customized skincare regimens and performing VISIA skin analyses to help patients achieve healthy, radiant skin. She is experienced with a wide variety of skincare lines, treatment modalities, and skin types, and is committed to finding the most effective solutions for each individual’s unique concerns. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Annie regularly participates in advanced continuing education to stay current with the latest innovations and techniques in medical aesthetics.
Outside of the office, Annie enjoys spending time with friends, family, her puppy Bingo, and her cat Teemo. She is an avid live music fan and rarely passes up the opportunity to attend a concert or show. When she’s not outdoors or exploring Kansas City, you’ll likely find her curled up on the couch watching a true crime documentary.
Annie is excited to continue expanding her knowledge and expertise in the ever-evolving field of medical aesthetics. She finds great fulfillment in helping patients achieve their skincare goals and loves being part of their journey toward greater confidence and self-care.
Allie McDill- Medical Aesthetician
Allie began her aesthetic career in September of 2023 and graduated from The Skn Academy in Shawnee, KS. In 2024, Allie joined the team at Plaza Aesthetics & Wellness. She is well versed in Hydrafacials, microneedling, chemical peels, dermaplaning, face and body contouring, waxing, Visia skin analysis, and brow & lash services. She is a skincare expert and enjoys helping curate personalized skin care routines for her patients.
Allie is a KU alum and likes to spend her time cooking, reading, and soaking up as much reality TV as possible.
Roger Figueroa - Medical Aesthetician
Roger is a Licensed Aesthetician in Kansas and Missouri, blending artistry, innovation, and results-driven skincare. With over nine years in the fashion industry as a designer and operations professional, his approach to aesthetics is deeply rooted in creativity, precision, and personalization. Roger recently graduated from Premier Academy of Cosmetology and Esthetics; specializing in Custom Corrective Facials, Chemical Peels, Nano-Infusion, Microdermabrasion, Body Treatments and LED Therapy.
He specializes in elevated, confidence-boosting experiences designed to empower clients through thoughtful, transformative results. His philosophy centers on honoring individuality and self-expression while delivering high-performance skincare treatments. What began as a passion for transformation through fashion has evolved into a commitment to helping others achieve healthy, radiant skin and find confidence within themselves.
He hold certifications in Project Management, User Experience, Be-Healthy Initiative, Chemical Peels, LED Light Therapy, HydraFacialMD and Treating Melanin-Rich Skin, ensuring both personalization and expertise are at the core of every treatment.
Erin Stewart- Administrative Assistant
Erin is a proud KC native currently pursuing her nursing degree, driven by deep passion for patient care.
Outside of her professional and academic life, Erin enjoys singing karaoke, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, watching football, and making memories with her toddler through everyday adventures.
Paige Miller- Registered Dietitian
aige has a passion for helping others make sense of nutrition and build a balanced plan that supports sustainable long-term results that go beyond just weight loss. Paige graduated with her bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Kansas State University in 2018 and graduated with her master’s degree in dietetics and nutrition from University of Kansas Medical Center in 2020. While pursuing her master’s degree, Paige completed a 1200-hour dietetic internship in clinical, management, and community based dietetic practice.
She has been credentialed as a Registered Dietitian since 2019 and is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Kansas. Paige began her professional career as a research dietitian with a focus on weight management and energy metabolism. She has continued her professional career as a clinical dietitian specializing in weight management. She has a certificate of training in pediatric and adult obesity management.
Melissa Smith – RN / Registered Nurse
Melissa graduated from Pittsburg State University with her BSN in 2009. She has a diverse background in various nursing specialties over the years and has spent most of her career at The University of Kansas Health System. She has experience in ICU, Interventional Radiology and Pain Management, ENT, Cardiac Step-Down, and IV Infusion.
Melissa started her aesthetic nurse injector career in September 2023. She values giving patients the best experience and results. She is dedicated to furthering her education and staying up to date with the latest techniques to help patients look and feel their best. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys cooking, watching sports, coaching soccer, and spending time with her twin boys, fiancée, 3 dogs, and family.
Tessa Menard – RN / Registered Nurse
Tessa began her aesthetic career in August of 2023 but has been in the medical field for over two decades. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Rockhurst University/Research College of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Tessa has had her nursing license in the state of Missouri since 2014 and is excited to continue learning and growing in the aesthetic industry.
Tessa is a proud wife and mother, blessed with two busy young daughters. She enjoys cheering for each of her favorite sports teams in her free time – Nebraska Cornhusker football, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas City Chiefs. But at the heart of it all, she is an RN who cherishes family moments and believes in and strives for a balanced life.
Kelli Glades - Aesthetician
Kelli graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, she knew she wanted to combine her degree with the beauty industry, so she became a licensed Aesthetician shortly after and opened a small med spa in 2019.
In June of 2022 she married her husband, who is a Kansas City local, sold her business, and moved to KC. She has been with us since January 2023.
Kelli has been practicing Aesthetics for 10 years and is also licensed in micro-needling, permanent makeup, plasma pen, and laser hair removal. Along with all other things Aesthetics, she is passionate about making every client feel like the best version of themselves.
